We have implemented IPMI Control feature for all servers that have IPMI. For security, we highly recommend you to disable IPMI and only enable it when needs. To use IPMI Control feature, just login to your account and click on “Services” then click on “View Details” of the server you need to enable/disable IPMI.
For colocation customers: this feature won't work if the IPMI's LAN Interface is Failover, so you need to login to your server’s IPMI and make sure the LAN Interface setting is Dedicated.
Note: when you change IPMI from Disable to Enable, please wait 30 seconds for it to re-establish the connection.
