Maintenance Scope: chi01 UPS Preventative Maintenance
Location: chi01 - 350 E Cermak Rd
Customer Impact: Power maintenance
Building engineers will be performing preventative maintenance on the UPSes covering chi01 & chi02 data center as scheduled date. Maintenance will first be performed on A side UPSes and then B side UPSes. During this maintenance, the UPSes will be de-energized and unavailable for use in the event of a utility power failure. Though the risk is minimal, should a utility power failure occur during the maintenance, a brief power interruption up to a few minutes may occur while the generator is brought online. This procedure is entirely scripted with back-out procedures in place should complications arise.
